Another screening last night for "The Wine Bar", very appreciated it seems, for the 12th Avignon-NewYork Film Festival.
Also, there was that very interesting film "Pour l Amour de Dieu" right after: it passed in France on Arte last week, and the directors and actors all came to New York to present it. The film talks about Islam, which is not exactly an easy subject over here these days. Hope it will be nationally broadcasted. I also loved that was shot in one of my ex-neighborhood in Paris (Buttes Chaumont): such a small world huh ?
Afterwhile, i could meet up with all those nice people at the buffet-party, with plenty of tasteful french wines served by french caterers, so sassy !
